Former Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is out of the running for the Rangers job.

Lampard has been linked with the Ibrox post after the sacking of Michael Beale.

However, BBC Sport says he is out of the running for the position and will not be considered for the final round of interviews.

Lampard has stated he is now pushing to return to management as he considers his options.

His last job was as caretaker manager of Chelsea towards the end of the past season.
