Former Rangers manager Walter Smith believes that Old Firm rivals Celtic will be deserved winners of this season's Scottish Premier League title.
There have been suggestions that the Hoops' imminent premiership will be spoiled because of the fact that 'Gers were docked 10 points for falling into administration but Smith admits he does not feel that way.
"It is a test of your whole club, the organisation and the way it is being run. Rangers haven't been good enough in that aspect.
"Circumstances have affected the Rangers team but you have to look at the club overall. The team that wins the league deserves it.
"When I first took over at Rangers in the early 90s Celtic were in a poor position financially and organisationally. We won a couple of titles then. You count them.""When you win a league championship it is not just a test of the team that goes on the field," the great Smith said of Neil Lennon's Celtic who are currently 18 points clear and could clinch the title in the next two matches.
