Rangers drop chase for Motherwell's Reynolds

Rangers won't consider making a new offer for Motherwell defender Mark Reynolds.

Gers have dropped their interest in Motherwell's Reynolds after the Fir Park club rejected an offer of £750,000 for the defender.

The Ibrox side will turn to other targets since Motherwell chairman John Boyle insists Reynolds is not for sale.

Boyle told BBC Sport: "We want to keep our best players as we prepare for the Uefa Cup next season.

"We aim to build on our third place finish and give our manager Mark McGhee the best tools to work with."
