Rangers boss Smith heaps praise on Miller

Kenny Miller's form this season has been praised by Rangers boss Walter Smith. The 31-year old has already scored 21 goals in the Scottish Premier League this term and Smith could only speak highly of his performances thus far.

"It's a fantastic return from Kenny, he's been terrific," Smith said.

"Our concern this season, after we lost Kris Boyd and then Nikica Jelavic, was we'd lose out when it came to goals.

"But Kenny has taken the main burden."

Miller is nine goals ahead of nearest rival Conor Sammon of Kilmarnock and will get the chance to add to his impressive tally when Rangers take on St Johnstone on Wednesday.
