Rangers boss Ally McCoist has cooled reports linking him with Crystal Palace.
Reports in London suggest the Ibrox gaffer is one of a host of names linked with the position at Selhurst Park, along with former Celtic manager Neil Lennon.
But McCoist insists: "There has been no contact at all with Crystal Palace. Listen there's a serious amount of work to get done here, which is of great importance to myself and the squad.
"I've got a job to do here. Anyone who knows me will be aware that I am desperately keen to get the job completed as quickly as we possibly can at Rangers.
"There are various steps that we have to take - the immediate one being to get out of this division and that's where I see myself hopefully short-term and longer-term. But I have an awful lot of work to do here which I'm really looking forward to."
