Rangers boss Stuart McCall hopes to keep hold of on-loan Newcastle United midfielder Haris Vuckic.

The Slovenian forward has scored five goals in nine appearances since his January arrival.

McCall has been impressed by the 22-year-old since he came north from Tyneside and said: "If I was around next year, he would be a player that I would be interested in and the club would be interested in.

"He's a good type who has a smile on his face and wants to do extra in training. He's a good type to have around."
