Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is confident securing their first silverware since 2005 if they can keep up their momentum through the Christmas period and into the New Year. Arsene Wenger's side top the Premier League and are closing on a place in the knockout stages of the Champions League, to leave Ramsey in confident mood.
"In the last few seasons we have suffered from getting off to bad starts and having to play catch up," he said.
"Now we have put ourselves in a fantastic opportunity early on so hopefully we can continue that over the Christmas period because we know our form after Christmas has been second to none over the last few seasons.
"Hopefully we can put ourselves in that position where we are there or thereabouts because we know we are confident enough after that."
