Aaron Ramsey is confident Theo Walcott will stay at Arsenal after making a goalscoring impact at Wembley in the 4-0 thrashing of Aston Villa. Walcott was the surprise inclusion in the starting line-up on Saturday with manager Arsene Wenger opting for the 26-year-old ahead of Olivier Giroud.
Walcott has one year left on his contract amid interest from Liverpool and Manchester City but Ramsey told Standard Sport: "I am sure that will be sorted out. I am delighted for him. He has been through a lot. He missed last season's FA Cup and it could not have happened to a nicer guy to start the final and score.
"I know what it feels like to score a goal and it is a wonderful feeling. Oli came on, made an impact and scored his goal. So I am pleased for them both - they are both very important players to this team."
