Ramsey frustrated Johnson chose Tottenham

Former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has described Brennan Johnson's potential as being huge.

The 22-year-old surprisingly signed for Tottenham on deadline day from Nottingham Forest.

Johnson, who cost Spurs £45 million on deadline day, will be playing against Ramsey's old club Arsenal in the coming weeks.

“I wish it weren't to Tottenham," Cardiff veteran Ramsey joked to reporters when asked about the deal.

“The potential he has is quite scary and hopefully he can take those next steps and go to the next level," he continued.

“He's going to be important for Wales as well.

“He's going to be huge for us over the years to come and we're all excited that he has another platform to go on and improve himself again."
