Argentina shot stopper Emiliano Martinez's controversial World Cup final behaviour has led to another internet row.

France 2018 World Cup winner Adil Rami has laid into Martinez, suggesting he was the “biggest piece of s***" in the sport.

Since that comment, the international teammate of Martinez, Angel di Maria, has come to his defense.

He said on social media: “El Dibu (Martinez) is the best goalkeeper in the world. Go cry elsewhere."

Rami then replied on Twitter: “Can you teach me?" showing four pictures of Di Maria crying along with the following captions: 'When you lose', 'when you win', 'when you leave a club', 'when you see this tweet.'

Other Argentines, including Leandro Paredes and German Pezzella also hit out at Rami for his comment.
