Ivan Rakitic has revealed Luis Suarez promised his new Barcelona teammates that he'll 'never bite again'.
Uruguay striker Suarez is serving a four-month ban for biting Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini at the summer World Cup.
Rakitic, like former Liverpool star Suarez, signed for Barca during the close-season and was asked about his controversial teammate by Croatian journalists.
"Suarez is very calm, gentle and quiet. He's a very nice person and has our full support.
'He told us that what happened in the World Cup will not happen again. He apologized and vowed that it would never happen."
