Racing Club star Claudio Yacob is keen to join Palermo.

The 23-year-old midfielder has been linked with a move to Sicily over the past week.

"For now I only know what I read in the newspapers," he told Palermo24.net.

"At the moment I am focused on Racing Avellaneda, but if there should be the opportunity then I would evaluate it with the club and be happy to start a new adventure."

Meanwhile, Palermo have officially loaned defender Paolo Hernan Dellafiore to Parma with the right to buy half his contract at the end of the season.
