Racing Santander are chasing West Brom midfielder Borja Valero.

AS says Racing coach Juan Carlos Mandia wants to build his midfield around the former Real Madrid Castilla midfielder.

Mandia has been chasing Valero since he was in charge of Malaga and is seeking talks with his agent, Alejandro Camano, about the prospect of a return to Spain.

Celtic boss Tony Mowbray is also keen on Valero, having first brought him to England while in charge of the Baggies.
