Watford have welcomed back Domingos Quina from injury earlier than expected.

The 19-year-old had originally been ruled out for three months with a shoulder injury, but has now returned to preseason training.

"I can't really remember what happened," he said.

"I was just unlucky, I think. When it popped out it was really painful. I had a lot of gas – that was nice.

"I'm back ahead of schedule. It was supposed to be three months but we're now two-and-a-half months in. It's feeling good, better than we thought it would be.

"I'm just glad to be back as it's not easy seeing the boys training every day and I'm by myself doing my own thing.

"I can't stop smiling. I'm buzzing as I've been waiting for this."
