Queensland Roar midfielder Michael Zullo says it will be a bad advertisement for the league if Adelaide United win the title on Saturday. Zullo's Roar were unable to overcome a highly defensive Adelaide outfit in the preliminary final on the weekend and expects the Reds to play the same way in the Grand Final this Saturday night.
"It would be a bad advertisement for the league if they were to win because against us, after they took the lead in the first half, they weren't interested in playing football," Zullo said.
"They had no intention of moving in our half, they weren't even interested in tackling us unless we were in the final third.
"They just sat back, packed the penalty area, picked up the scraps and tried to hang on to what they had. Their attitude was just ridiculous and very disappointing.
"They might get a few results along the way but it's not what you want to see. It leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.
"I'll watch the Grand Final and hope that Melbourne take out the title."
