Napoli striker Fabio Quagliarella admits trying to get departing Juventus defender Fabio Cannavaro to return home to Naples.
Italy captain Cannavaro has signed for the UAE's Al-Ahli in the past week.
"He is an exceptional guy. We often discussed the fact he wanted to end his career at Napoli. I would've been enthusiastic to welcome him," concluded Quagliagol.
