Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin has revealed he would have loved to play alongside Newcastle United and Blackburn Rovers legend Alan Shearer.
Austin was asked on the FL72 Podcast which player, past or present, he would have most liked to play with, to which he responded: "Easy question: Alan Shearer."
"I would learn a lot from his experience of scoring 260 Premier League goals.
"People may say we are similar but I think good strikers can work together."
Austin has scored 10 goals in 16 Championship appearances for QPR this campaign.
