Released Lecce striker Javier Chevanton is happy with his move to QPR.
The 33 year-old signed for QPR last week as a free agent.
Chevanton told tuttomercatoweb.com: "I said yes to QPR because Harry Redknapp strongly wanted me.
"I did not think twice. My priority was to come to London. Now I want to give my contribution to returning the club to the Premier League.
"I would have stayed at Lecce for life so you will have to ask the club why they sent me away."
