QPR's Park: No hard feelings about loss of captaincy

Park Ji-sung says he is not bothered about losing the QPR captain's armband earlier this season.

The South Korean midfielder was installed as R's skipper by Mark Hughes in the summer following his move from Manchester United but an injury forced him out of action for around three months.

During that time, Harry Redknapp took over and appointed Clint Hill as skipper but the decision does not at all worry Park.

"It's not a big thing for me," he told QPR podcast Open All R's.

"It wasn't something I felt I had to do, I was happy to do it for the club. [Redknapp] explained he wanted to change the atmosphere, it was his decision and I accept that.

"He's motivated the players to work 100 per cent on the pitch and given us the confidence to play and believe we can [win matches] in the future."
