QPR midfielder Joey Barton believes Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez is an inconsistent footballer.
The Chile international has scored 14 goals in 23 appearances for the Gunners since his £35million summer move from Barcelona but Barton feels he fails to perform in big games.
"I said he was inconsistent, from what I saw for Udinese and Barcelona," he told Forever Sports magazine.
"You see him now, great at home against a smaller side but disappears against Manchester United."
Sanchez has scored nine Premier League goals including doubles against Sunderland and Burnley, one in the Capital One cup loss to Southampton, as well as in four Champions League matches against Besiktas (in qualifying), Galatasaray, Anderlecht and Borussia Dortmund.
