QPR remain in the hunt for Toronto FC striker Jermain Defoe.
The Mail on Sunday says if Harry Redknapp is still in charge of QPR come January then he is likely to offer Defoe, playing in Toronto, a loan deal during the MLS off-season.
Former Tottenham striker Defoe confirmed he came close to joining the Rs in August.
