QPR plot ambitious move for Eto'o as Juventus swoop

QPR are believed to be making an ambitious move for Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o.

The Mirror reports that the departing Chelsea attacker's agent has flown into London to speak with R's officials about the possibility of a summer move to Loftus Road.

Eto'o, who joined the Blues from Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala last August, wants to remain living in London and also prefers a Premier League stay which has alerted Harry Redknapp and the west Londoners.

Claudio Vignorelli, the agent of the former Inter Milan and Barcelona star, will this week negotiate with the top flight returnees but there are suggestions that wages could be a potential deterrent.

However, Sky Sports Italia reports that Italian giants Juventus have offered Eto'o a one-year deal following the knee injury sustained by new signing Alvaro Morata who only recently joined the Turin outfit from Real Madrid for £16million.
