QPR are eyeing Reading goalkeeper Alex McCarthy.
The Times says the Hoops have opened talks with Reading over a £3m move for McCarthy.
The 24-year-old has fallen behind Adam Federici in the pecking order at the Madejski Stadium and has just one year left on his contract.
