QPR new boy Macheda: Man Utd's Ferguson agreed with loan idea

Federico Macheda has revealed that Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson agree with him when he mentioned the idea of going out on loan.

The 20-year old Italian striker will spend the remainder of the season on loan with QPR and he says that both he and the United boss felt it was the right time for him to gain regular first team football.

< "When I spoke to him [Ferguson] about going on loan he agreed with me," Macheda said.

"I'm 20 years old and I need to get more playing time. There's a bit more chance to play here than at United at the moment. So he agreed with me, and we made this choice.

"I don't know about my future. It's not important now. The important thing now for me is QPR.

"I'm looking forward to doing well here, and then we'll talk about my future another day."
