QPR goalkeeper Robert Green is eager for the club to bring in a new striker in the winter transfer window.
The R's have relied too heavily on Charlie Austin in the first 16 matches of the Premier League season with the former Burnley star netting eight of the west London club's 17 goals.
Dutch midfielder Leroy Fer, with two goals, is the only other R's player to have scored more than once this term and Green feels it would be valuable for manager Harry Redknapp to add some scoring power in January.
"We've got three recognised strikers in the squad," Green told Sky Sports.
"Obviously it's an area of the squad that they're looking to improve but so does everyone else in January.
"If you asked every manager what they want they'd say another striker and there's only so many around. In that respect it's a tough ask."
