QPR forced to deny trio axe claims

QPR insist three of their senior players have not been released, despite the Premier League declaring Clint Hill, Akos Buzsaky and Radek Cerny were all gone.

It is understood Friday's released list was accurate up to May 19, hence the reason Paul Scholes - who agreed to stay at Manchester United for a further year last week - is also named, says the Daily Mail.

The Rs had to clarify that Hill, Buzsaky and Cerny had not been released, after the trio were also named despite all being offered new deals to stay at Loftus Road earlier this month.
