Bolton Wanderers have turned down QPR's offer for defender Tim Ream.

The relegated R's are currently in the market to sign a defender following the departure of Steven Caulker to Southampton and it was reported that the Hoops had identified the Trotters' American centre-back Ream as a target.

QPR had recently launched a bid of around £1million in their attempt to sign the USA international but GetWestLondon have now revealed that the approach has been rebuffed by Bolton.
