Carlos Queiroz is being considered for the QPR job according to reports.
It is believed that the former Manchester United assistant, who worked so closely with Sir Alex Ferguson, is the subject of an enquiry from the west Londoners who saw Harry Redknapp resign earlier this month.
The Daily Mirror reports that the R's have asked about the availability of Queiroz who has been at the helm of the Iran national team since 2011.
Chris Ramsey is currently acting as the caretaker at Loftus Road for the remainder of the season but Portuguese tactician Queiroz, who has previously managed Real Madrid, South Africa and Portugal, has now emerged on the radar of chairman Tony Fernandes.
