QPR have missed out on a deal for Lokomotiv Moscow midfielder Lassana Diarra.

Diarra was in London over the weekend for a medical and to complete a move to the Rs.

However, the deal is now off and Diarra is returning to Moscow.

The midfielder appears set to remain with Lokomotiv after previous issues with management.
