English Championship club QPR are pondering a winter swoop for St Johnstone striker Stevie May.
The 21-year old striker has scored 16 Scottish Premier League goals for a total of 20 for the season which has prompted interest from Harry Redknapp.
The R's boss sent a scout to watch May score in last week's 1-0 win at Partick Thistle and is expected to have someone present when the Saints meet Dundee United at Tannadice on Monday night.
The Sunday Mail is of the belief that QPR are preparing a £700,000 bid for May who was recently the subject of a half-a-million pound offer from Peterborough United.
