QPR chief suggests ex-Tottenham boss Sherwood may not be the man

QPR owner and chairman Tony Fernandes has indicated that he may have found a new manager for the club.

The R's lost Harry Redknapp last week when the 67-year old resigned in order to undergo a required knee operation and there has been plenty of speculation regarding who would replace him at Loftus Road.

Former Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood has been heavily linked with the R's vacancy while current caretaker Chris Ramsey has revealed his desire to take the job on a less temporary basis.

However, Fernandes posted on Twitter this evening that perhaps the rumours could be wrong.

QPR currently sit 19th on the Premier League table ahead of tonight's clash with 14th-placed Sunderland at the Stadium of Light which Fernandes suggests is the major focus of the club in this moment.
