Tony Fernandes admits he feels awful for QPR's supporters after another relegation from England's top flight.
The west London club have been demoted back to the Championship for a second time in three years after falling 6-0 at Manchester City on Sunday and chairman Fernandes says he really feels for the Loftus Road faithful who have had to endure another difficult season.
"It's a sad and disappointing day for everyone connected to QPR," he said.
"The Premier League is the toughest competition in world football, so we were well aware of the complexities of the task this season and unfortunately we've fallen just short.
"I feel desperately for the fans who have been absolutely fantastic again this season, as they always are."
