QPR's Chris Ramsey has been given the backing of the club's board, with chairman Tony Fernandes expecting the 53-year old to "flourish" as manager next season.
Ramsey was appointed as permanent manager of the west London club on a three-year deal on Tuesday despite the Loftus Road outfit's relegation from the Premier League.
Fernandes hailed Ramsey's professional approach as the club attempts to rebuild in the Championship next season.
"When Chris took over the role we were already in a very difficult position," said Fernandes.
"Despite our relegation, we - as a board - have been impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail he has demonstrated.
"He lives and breathes management and coaching and I am sure he will flourish in this role as we look to bounce back from this season's disappointments."
QPR's final game of the Premier League campaign is against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Sunday.
