QPR chairman Fernandes assures Hughes job safe

QPR chairman Tony Fernandes has assured manager Mark Hughes his job is safe.

The Daily Mail says Fernandes continues to have faith in 48-year-old Hughes to turn round a poor start to the season which sees the west London club stuck at the bottom of the league with just two points from seven games.

Fernandes has told friends that he believes Hughes will bring success to Loftus Road in the long term.
