QPR boss says no January move for Rangers' Jelavic

QPR manager Neil Warnock has poured cold water over suggestions that he is set to make a move for Rangers striker Nikica Jelavic.

The in-form Croatian international continues to be linked with Premier League clubs but Warnock says the Loftus Road outfit has no interest in splurging around £10million for the former Rapid Vienna ace.

"I am aware of him, only because one of my good pals Stuart McCall is at Motherwell, so we keep talking to him about all sorts. But I'm not aware of any offer, or of showing any interest in him," Warnock told Sky Sports News.

"He's just one of a number of players that's been mentioned to me, not the other way around."
