QPR boss Harry Redknapp is being linked with AS Monaco veteran Dimitar Berbatov.
The Daily Star Sunday says Redknapp worked with the Bulgaria forward at Tottenham and has been alerted by reports that Berbatov, 33, wants a return to London.
The former Spurs, Manchester United and Fulham forward has scored six goals in 20 games so far this term.
Berbatov may be available for a bargain £1million and his £70,000-a- week salary would not be a stumbling block for QPR.
