QPR are set to sign Tal Ben Haim.

Rs boss Harry Redknapp has confirmed that he is set to sign former Portsmouth centre-back Tal Ben Haim on a deal to the end of the season.

The Israeli defender has been without a club since leaving Pompey in August and has been training with the Rs since the start of December.

"Tal has worked hard [in training] and we will look to give him a contract until the end of the season," said Redknapp after his side won 1-0 at Chelsea on Wednesday night.

"He may be added to the squad. He is keen to have a go with us."
