QPR boss Harry Redknapp is convinced on-loan West Ham United striker Mauro Zarate is Premier League class.
West Ham manager Sam Allardyce had earlier claimed that Zarate was not good enough to break into his starting XI at Upton Park, but Redknapp believes that the former Birmingham man will prove his worth in west London.
Speaking ahead of Saturday's clash against Burnley (3pm), Redknapp said: "We've got Zarate on loan, we hope he comes and does well for us.
"He's got bags of ability, [we want another signing too] but we're not close to anything at the moment.
"Sam's got Valencia, [Andy] Carroll, Sakho, Carlton Cole, he's got four strikers. So I can see where's he's coming from.
"They are all flying at the moment so Zarate couldn't get into the team. My situation is different, I've got Charlie Austin and Bobby Zamora, two strikers. They've got four."
