QPR boss Harry Redknapp says they missed their Chilean pair for defeat at Newcastle United.
Edu Vargas and Mauricio Isla both failed to make the trip to Tyneside.
Redknapp said: "We missed Vargas today. His wife had gone into labour so he wasn't available and then Isla arrived late back on Thursday night.
"He looked absolutely out on his feet on Friday morning having played two games this week in South America so there was no way he could play.
"That took a bit away from us because them two are quick-attacking players if you like and we missed them today."
