QPR boss Harry Redknapp admits he made an attempt for Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon yesterday.
There was talk of Lennon being available as Stoke City and QPR made enquiries.
Redknapp told talkSPORT: "No, not really. We never really got close to getting him."
