QPR boss Ramsey wants more teams in relegation mix

Queens Park Rangers coach Chris Ramsey believes his team must drag other clubs into the relegation battle to increase their chances of survival. "I think anybody who can't consider themselves mathematically safe is always going to be looking over their shoulders," said the former Tottenham coach.

"We've seen in recent year's people who thought they were safe weren't safe towards the end of the season, and the people who thought they were doomed saved themselves towards the end of the season.

"So we're just going to be really focused on trying to get those three points and drag them closer to us.

"That's our aim, that's what we want to do, get as many people be involved in the dogfight as possible so as we can take it as close towards the end of the season as possible and give ourselves a really big fighting chance to stay in the league.

"You don't have to say much to the players, they understand where we're at. Nobody wants to go down, everybody wants to stay in this division and everybody understands that each game now is really a cup final for us."
