QPR boss Harry Redknapp goes into tonight's clash with Aston Villa with his job under a cloud.
The People says Redknapp is still believed to retain the backing of chairman Tony Fernandes - despite his embarrassing spat with Adel Taarabt and their position at the foot of the Premier League.
But other board members are said to want the manager replaced.
Tony Pulis and Tim Sherwood have been linked with the post.
