West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis has stated that he will be adopting a patient approach in the transfer market this summer.
The Baggies will need to strengthen their side ahead of the upcoming campaign and a host of names have already started being linked with a move to The Hawthorns.
Despite all the speculation, Pulis has told the fans that they should not expect an influx of players to arrive at the club anytime soon and has insisted that the transfer process will take time.
"It is very easy to say: 'We'd like to have X, and we'd like to have X and we'd like to have X' - it doesn't work that way," said Pulis.
"You have to decide what is available and what suits you as a football club and as a team. We know what we want, I think we know where we are trying to go.
"We have just got to try and make sure we put it all together at the right time. It might take over six, seven, eight weeks to be ready for when the season starts and make sure next year we are better than what we were this."
