Stoke City striker Cameron Jerome was clearly annoyed this week when speaking to the press regarding his situation at the club.
The 25-year old netted the equaliser against Everton on Tuesday night and the next day was asking questions of manager Tony Pulis as to why he hadn't been given many starting opportunities this season.
Today, Pulis backed the former Birmingham City man by saying he would be let down if Jerome did not care about his standing but has defended his own selection policy.
"He wants to play and rightly so, they all want to play. But (Peter) Crouch and (Jon) Walters have done well this year. They've been my preferred two. You have to pick it the way you think is right.""I'd be very disappointed if he said he was happy. Cam works his socks off and he's got a right to his opinion, and that's the same with everybody else," Pulis said.
