PSV Eindhoven striker Ola Toivonen is being tracked by Sunderland.
The Daily Mail says Sunderland manager Steve Bruce had scouts at Sweden's European Championship qualifier with Holland on Tuesday night and they saw Toivonen score the winning goal in the Scandinavians' 3-2 victory.
The 25-year-old has been followed by West Bromwich and Liverpool recently among others while Sunderland are evaluating various targets after allowing Asamoah Gyan to join Al-Ain on a season-long loan.
Toivonen is valued at around £9million but PSV will listen to reasonable offers.
