Jeremain Lens is determined to get a move to England's top flight this summer.
The 25-year old Dutch striker has been honing his craft with PSV Eindhoven since 2010 but feels now is the right time to move to a more challenging league.
"I long for the next step," the former AZ Alkmaar man told Voetbal International. "I think the time has come to prove myself at the highest level every week.
"I'm 25, I have played in the Eredivisie for seven and it's time for a step forward. I think my style of play fits perfect in England.
"I have no transfer clause in my contract, but if there is a nice club I expect no problems.
"PSV would grant me a move abroad. Otherwise, next year they could be left facing an unpleasant situation.
"Moreover, I will not go to a competition where I could not get into the Dutch team."
