PSV Eindhoven are hopeful they can re-sign Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel for at least one more season.
The midfielder experienced a successful stint with the Eredivisie club last season, scoring seven goals from 15 appearances.
Van Ginkel has yet to make an impact at Chelsea, having made just two league appearances since joining the Blues from Vitesse Arnhem in 2013.
The 24-year old has also enjoyed loan spells with AC Milan and Stoke City.
However, despite his apparent lack of a future at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea re-signed the Dutchman to a three-year contract in December.
