PSV hero Van de Kerkhof urges Depay to resist Man Utd, Real Madrid offers

PSV Eindhoven coach René van de Kerkhof has urged Memphis Depay not to skip out on the club this summer.

PSV coach Philipp Cocu concedes he expects Depay to be sold, with the likes of Manchester United, Tottenham and Real Madrid keen.

But Van de Kerkhof says: "I'd prefer him to stay with PSV. As he played on Saturday, Depay was a little flat. I think in the next few weeks he will be important for us again." He added: "Every footballer, especially young players, have ups and downs. Memphis has had more ups.

"Maybe people think criticising Memphis will put PSV off balance, but they will not succeed."
