PSV Eindhoven are delighted to have fought off attention from Manchester City and Manchester United to secure Zakaria Bakkali to a pro contract.
The teenage striker, who joined PSV four years ago from Standard Liege, came to the attention of both Manchester clubs at last year's Nike Cup.
"I am very happy that he opts for a gradual path to a top club in the Netherlands," said PSV chief Marcel Brands. "Our intention is to help him reach as high a level as he can."
