PSV Eindhoven defender Karim Rekik hopes to soon learn the plans parent club Manchester City have for him.

Rekik is currently on a season-long loan at PSV.

"They'd rather loan me to a club in another country," Rekik told NU.nl.

"I've heard positive stories about technical director Txiki Begiristain. He likes to think in the sporting interests of the player.

"For me personally it is important that I get playing time, I can continue to develop and can win titles. And as I said, I am hopeful that City thinks in the same way."
